After completing my Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University, I went on to complete my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Western States Chiropractic College, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2002.
As a Chiropractor with a background in the study of human movement, I understand how variables such as trauma, repetition, faulty firing and movement patterns as well as poor stabilization can lead to injury. I not only address the injury site but also focus on other underlying areas that increase the propensity for injury.
You can expect a comprehensive history and physical examination followed by a report of findings which will explain your specific diagnosis, treatment, management and rehabilitation and answer any questions you may have.
I believe a combination of Active Release Techniques (ART), chiropractic manipulation, physiotherapy modalities, and rehabilitative exercises enables patients to reach their optimal level of performance and assists patients in reaching their health goals and needs. Treatment success is based on your timely return to work and/or play with a special focus on educating you towards a better understanding of optimal health and wellness. I have enjoyed working with many local athletes and am heavily involved in the local soccer community. I look forward to working with you and your family.
